Are Snails in a tank safe?

snails are totally necessary in a tank. they are one of the most important cleaners. they don't give diseases to the fish as far as I know. the only problem is if the become over populated cause they then produce more amonia that is bad for the whole tank. so as long as you control teir number they r a necessity of the life of your tank!
