Can you offer me some tips for my B?
Practice brother. Start with simple riffs, blues so you keep your fingers moving up and down the fingerboard. Learn octaves so you can play up the neck and drop down low for that big deep sound to "catch" peoples ear. Know your notes and learn the clic songs so you can sit in. Listen to Jack Cidy from the Airplane and Hot Tuna, one of the best players I know. Also EddieWatkins Jr. he did the b on Gloria Gayners "I will Survive" I hear you when you say you want to do metal but learn other styles too, makes you more versatile and marketable. Guitar players are a dime a dozen but a good b man is hard to find.
