Bad relationship baby involved??? Some advise please?

Sounds like you're desperately holding onto a dream of what you want and need not the reality. The reality is that he wont change until he sees the problem for what it is himself, you can't do that for him. You also can't afford to be putting yourself and your son in this situation. I understand this..I did this to, but it wasn't fare on anyone involved. You need to face up to reality and let him go. Raise your son to be strong, intelligent and well loved. This man may one day face his own demons but you can't keep sacrificing yourself and your child in the hope that it happens any day soon. He has no legal right to take your son, it will be hard for you but hey the worst that could happen is you end up a single mum with a beautiful strong boy the best that could happen is it would be the wake up call he needed (although I wouldn't hold your breath) And in regards to visitation rights you can organise for them to be supervised so you know he is able to be apart of his sons life without the possibility of anything going terribly wrong.
