Dreams of water?

I am constantly having dreams about water. The other night I dreamt there was a huge lake near my house and i was amazed at the beauty of it and remember thinking, man this lake is so beautiful, how did i not notice it so near my house. I was then swimming in it and having fun with my friends. I also have recurring dreams of driving at the coastline where the water is splashing against the cliffs and i'm always just driving along beside it. I also had a scarey dream where i was drowning in a river and trying to get out but the water was like syrup and i couldnt move my arms or legs properly cos it was so thick and heavy. i also had a dream where i looke in the mirror and staring back at me was a grey haired old man. any ideas?
