Help quick!!! Lord of the Flies is this a good thesis statement?

Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, was a novel like no other. Golding used the fire, the conch, and Simon to teach the reader the building blocks of a society. The symbols were used all throughout the book to show the characters progression, which would eventually change the society; this is where Jack comes in. As Jack comes in the society is brought down by the image of darkness, self-centeredness, and evil. Golding used a lot of symbolism in the book to convey the morals and building blocks of today’s society only to replicate it by adding that dark force known as Jack.
