Where should a Dwarf Needle Juniper Bonsai tree be positioned?

I got a Dwarf Needle Juniper Bonsai Tree as a gift and I don't know whether it should be placed inside my house or outside. Do they need a lot of sunlight? If so, will the heat and humidity of South Florida affect my tree in any way?
