Zune is in. iPod is out?
I just returned my 30G iPod for a 30G Zune for the same price. Why? Zune interfaces with more PC based files (iTunes requires you to convert them to their format. Forget about converting WMV files *phew!*). iPod is losing ground in the portable media race. You can only upload songs you own, or songs you steal. Zune, as well as other MP3 players, are adapting to the needs of the consumer by renting songs. You pay a monthly flat fee ($15) and you get all the songs you want. Zune also has radio and the ability to interface and share with other Zunes wirelessly. iPod was just too proprietary. Don't get me wrong, if iTunes offered songs to rent, I'd still have my iPod, but iPod files do not have the new DRM format which all the new MP3 players are doing (which allows for the renting of songs). Unless Apple can adapt, bye bye iPod
